These past two weekends I had an album class where those who came completed 24 pages, or a whole album. The theme of this album class was About Me. It was a class that encourages you to scrapbook yourself. I created the pages and journaling questions to go with each page so those who came could drop their pictures onto the pages and answer the questions so they had a book about themselves to treasure.
Each 2 page spread I create usually features a technique as well as an unique theme. The technique for this page was how to remove ink from your stamp and use a marker to fill in the empty space. I inked the stamp from flowering flourishes stamp set with Old Olive ink and then with a piece of a sponge I rubbed the ink away from the flower image and two of the dots. Then I inked those images with a marker, remember to huff of the stamp before stamping to add moisture back into the ink and allow you to stamp a clean image. Repeat this process foor the border strips.
The Flowering Flourishes scrap page was a page about your hobbies. What do you do for fun or relaxation? What lights you up or gives you energy? Do you enjoy reading a good book in a corner or scrapbooking your family history? Do you love to run or do you swim?
I would love for you to leave a note and tell me what you would put on this page?
