This cute fabric purse pattern came from my stampin friend Sandi. She had one made similar to these for me this summer and I had to share the idea because they are so easy and fun to make.
I taught this as a class for quilt guild. These puses are created with coordinating Stampin' Up! fabric and the closer is a cut up construction measuring tape that when you sew it firmly into a casing it snaps open and closed. I added a ID pocket on the front because here in Arabia everyone has to carry an ID and having it on the outside of your purse makes it easy to show.
I increased the orginal pattern by 1/2" so you could fit the latest cell phone or i-pod in it easily.
If you want a pattern for this Snap shut purse you can select this link. Enjoy the free pattern.
What do you think? Do you like these color combination? Do you have any suggestions on how to make these better or more useful? I would love to hear your idea so leave me comment.
