My Friend stamp set is new to Stampin' Up! catalog this year and one that many techniques can be used with. I received this card during Stampin' Up!'s convention and I loved it and thought I would share it with you. Melanie Baker was the creator.
How to do a resist technique: Stamp the hello from the set on Stampin' Up!'s First Edition specialty paper with Black Stazon ink. Then the flower stamp was stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear powder. Now with a sponge add the colors around the images blending them together to create a soft look. Layer the specialty paper paper on colored cardstocks and add the my friend strip using dimensionals.
How to color ribbon: The ribbon is Very Vanilla that was colored with the sponges used on the card. Just start with the darkest color and move across the piece of ribbon you want colored. The ribbon was attached with sticky strip and a clear button was added as the final accent.
