I loved Stampin' Up! stamp set Time Well Spent when it was current in Stampin' Up!'s catalog and every once it a while I like to pull out an old favorite and use it again. This page layout was one a did years ago but in different colors. I decided to repeat in colors that helped my pictures to pop. This last summer I spent some time with my family (Time well spent) and my brothers kids are so fun to take pictures of. These pages hold my favorites of my niece Allie. I want to put one of these on canvas to hang on my wall. I love her sitting in the wildflowers and grass and just dreaming with the knees of her jeans torn and her long blonde hair shinning in the light. But I have not because I can't decide if I like it better than the one when she is kneeling in the grass and the wind catches her hair.
The page is Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron cardstock with Basic Black to help them pop off the page. I used the designer papers for the flower and butterfly. I stamped the images in Black Stazon and then stamped a couple on the designer paper and cut them out. This way I did not have to color all the images in and yet it looks really look.
I added a few brad accents and stamped with the Notes and Details stamp set that is in the Occasions Mini catalog that we can order from until the 30th of April. If you are a scrapbooker I would recommend this stamp set. I like the journaling lines that are like stitches so they don't stand out but blend into your page. I like the date stamp and the the bracket. Order today from my Stampin' web site: http://wendythestamper.stampinup.net or email me at [email protected]
