This wish big card was one of my favorite samples I received at Leadership. It was created by my friend Robin. I am not sure if I love the colors best or the ribbon techinque or the fact that the present is made from the Big Shot die Two Tags but I know I like how this card came together.
The present is the Two Tags die cut from Stampin' Up's two sided desginer paper called Sweet and Sour Speciality found in the main catalog on page 172. Item # 117390.
The wish big greeting is found in Stampin' Up!'s Word Play stamp set found on page 147. It was inked with markers and then punched it out using the Curly Label Extra Large punch.
The ribbon technique is created with oval punches. Always punch the smallest punch first so you have cardstock to hold while you punch the larger punch around it. This gives you a thin ribbon look. The punches are: smallest 1 3/8" x 5/8" and larger 1 3/4"x7 /8".
this present image would be cute on a gift bag or scrapbook page not only cards. I hope you try this technique today. If you need supplies you can find them at my stampin' web site: http://www.wendythestamper.stampinup.net
You are so sweet Wendy ... this was such a fun and happy card for me! However I must give credit for the original design of the punched ribbon bows to Vickie Burdick ... a terrifically creative lady! Enjoy!
