I thought I would finish the week off with another creative use of the Petal cone die. To create this Elegant pink Valentine card you cut 2 cone pieces using the die and then run one of them through the Big Shot again using the Vintage Wallpaper impressions embossing folder. Glue the two together (see hint and photo below). Add the Embosslits Scallop Heart of Hearts accents cut from white and Regal Rose. The banner piece is cut from the Petal Cone die and was cut from Whisper White cardstock and glued to only one side so the card can open.
Amanda, one of my stamping buddies, made this card for me at Leadership and I think it is so elegant.
Hint: This image shows you the inside of the card so you get the idea on how to glue it together. The flap on the main piece is glued to half of the other die that you embossed. The other half with the tab is glued to the opposite side of the main piece.
This card is a perfect Valentine but could also be used as a wedding or anniversary card.
