When I look at this card it makes me smile, maybe it is because I have always loved pink or the image of heart flowers remind me of some wood heart flowers I put up in my entry way at Valentines each year, or maybe it is because Valentine's Day is just a happy day. Whatever it is I hope this card makes you smile.
It is created by cutting a piece of cardstock 5 1/2 x 11 inches and folding it in half. The package of designer paper I used is found in the filled with love bundle special that Stampin' Up! is offering until January 24th. The designer paper is cut 1 1/2" wide and because it is double sided I used both sides of the strip and just glued them around the outside edge of the cardstock. The square in the middle is whisper white with chocolate chip cardstock frame. I stamped the flower with Pretty in Pink and Pear Pazzazz.
I stamped the Feb. 14th image twice on the designer paper and punched them with the rounded tab punch making sure I punched one with the Feb close to the center line and the next one with the heart and 14 close to the center line, I folded these in half and glued them to the back of the middle square. I added a heart that was stamped on whisper white and a couple small hearts that are chocolate chip and punched them out with the heart punches. The final touches is adding grosgrain ribbon accent.
