The first time I glanced through the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! catalog the stamp set Sudio Sketches jumped off the page at me. I don't know if it was because of the images or if it was the sketched look that I loved but I knew it would be a stamp set I would enjoy stamping and coloring in.
This card was made with More Mustard card stock, cut in half and folded in half. I added a 1" strip of the Subtles designer series paper in Marina Mist. I stamped the image with the pears and jug on Very Vanilla card stock with black Stazon ink and colored it in with Aqua Painters and the ink from the ink pads. I used Stampin' Up!'s ink colors; Marina Mist, More Mustard and Crumb Cake for the shadows. I punched a 1' stripe of Marina Mist card stock with the scallop border punch and added it to the edge of the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a slit in the card and fed the ribbon through the slit and tied it at top and added the image to the card with dimensionals. The words are from a great new Stampin' Up! word set called Curly Cute.
