This card was a design I taught this past week. It was a fun card to create and simple to make. Fold 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of card-stock in half, then cut off 2" of the front of the card.
Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white card-stock and stamp it with Stampin' Up!'s Berry Christmas stamp set. I just inked the end of the holly piece and the berries on this piece of card-stock.
Stamp on a 2 3/4 x 2 1/4" piece of Whisper White card-stock with; Old Olive for holly piece, Real Red for berry piece, Crushed Curry for bird piece and Real Red for Make Merry piece. Layer that with 3" x 2 1/2" piece of Real Red card-stock. Using a 3/4' circle punch, punch a 1/2 circle from card-stock piece before gluing it to the left side of your card.
Now take a jumbo grommet and push it through your card right where you cut punched the 1/2" circle and open prong with bone folder. Add a ribbon knot with glue dot to finish the look.
This card is one you can make a bunch for Christmas. It is not too hard and can be stamped quickly.
