Sandy made this Merry wall hanging for me because I taught at her meeting last week. It was made by cutting chipboard using the big shot and layering the images on top of each other, some were cut out of chipboard and some are just layers of Designer Series Paper. She added a few final accents to make it just right.
The main chipboard pieces are attached to the long ribbon so it will hang nicely on a wall.
She used Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series paper Merry Moments found on page 160 in Stampin' Up!'s main catalog. The Big Shot dies are Stampin' Up! Scallop Square, Serif Essentials, Stampin' Up! Alphabet Simple numbers.
You can glue your card stock pieces onto the chipboard either before or after you cut because it is a perfect cut each time it does not matter if you glue before or after cutting. You can cover your letter in card stock, Designer papers or color them with a sponge and classic ink.
Chipboard is very versatile and something I use a lot. I like that Stampin' Up! offers it in long board pieces that fit into the Big Shot just right so you have less waste and it makes it easier to cut.
