What fun we had this past weekend. On Saturday I started my quarterly Heritage Album Club class. I had 14 people sign up to create Heritage Albums. We make 3 two-page spread each quarter and this is a sample of one of the pages. I will add more photos and journaling as I develop the pictures. We are doing this album in the Baja Breeze, Kraft and Chocolate chip colors and they are just perfect for a Heritage Album.
This page idea was about your name. I emailed everyone who signed up with questions to ask themselves about "a name". The questions help them to know what to journal and what photos to include on their pages. I think my album this year will be about my dad. Some are doing their grandparents, others their own lives for their children and others random people that fit the themes and helps them record a piece of their heritage.
So what's in a name: What was the evolution of this person's name, what do you know about your family surname, it's origin and meaning? What is the meaning of their first name? Do the person you're doing this page for have a first and middle name that sets them apart or were they named for a family member?
It's not too late to join in this class and preserve your heritage. Email me today for more details.
