On this past Saturday, here in Woodstock, we had a baby shower for Amber, a customer and friend who had her baby boy 9 weeks early. He was able to come home after 5 weeks and is growing and happy. I was in charge of invites and providing my home to have the shower at. This is the invite I came up with.
I typed and printed all information for the shower on white card stock 3x6 inches folded that in half as the base for a mini card. I added layers of Apricot Appeal, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Whisper White with the boat from Nursery Necessities stamp set that was inked with the same colors as above plus Regal Rose.
The card was draped over a 1/2" piece of certainly celery that was attached with brads to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of Bashful Blue Card-stock that was rolled with whimsy jumbo roller. I finished off with the saying rock-a-bye baby in Black ink.
This was a fun, easy way to make a bunch of invitations and could work for any occasion.
