I have just spent five days in cold Utah visiting family and sending my oldest daughter off on a 18 month mission for our church. We flew her to Utah where she will attend classes at a training center where she will learn Spanish before going to Tucson AZ mission which covers the lower part of AZ, New Mexico and part of Texas.
It is an emotional time for me even though she has been at school I knew she would be home in a few month but 18 months seems a long time before seeing her. I also know that she is grown up and I have done the mother thing and life changes and because of that I feel a little sad
As I was thinking all these thoughts I remembered a scrap-booking page we made a couple of years ago in my wow scrap-booking class that I put pictures of Shanae and I that were took this fall when I visited her at school. The times I spend with my daughters are priceless to me.
I love creating pages and then dropping the photos on them. If you have never attended one of my scrap-booking classes decide to come and create 3 two-page spreads in just a couple of hours and you too can go home and drop your photos onto great pages and another memory is saved for your family to enjoy in the years to come. If you have attended come again.
I usually have wow scrap-booking classes on the 4th Friday of each month but because of Leadership and our trip to Utah the January class will be held Friday, January 30th at 10am and repeated at 7:30pm. The cost is $30.00 and you receive a $20.00 discount when you purchase $75.00 or more that night of the class. It's not too late to sign up for Friday's class. Email me today!
